There are a mass of amazing photographic opportunities at the festival – so don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the scene and bring the festival alive in a photograph!

To help you get amazing shots of the festival, there are free Photo Masterclasses in association with Amateur Photographer, What Digital Camera and Nikon.

There are free magazines for the first 1000 people that visit the marquee, as well as a chance to win a Nikon S9100.

Don't forget to enter your festival pictures into our Photo Competition for the chance to win an amazing Nikon D7000, worth around £1,300, as well as a host of runner-up prizes.

You can get inspiration from a PhotoBox exhibition of last year’s Thames Festival winning shots in the Masterclass Marquee and can see the winning shots from last year's competition here.

Your comments

I only recenly discovered an interest in photography and have been snapping up shots all over London with a DSLR for 6 months now. Photo masterclasses are brilliant ideas for us budding, not so confident photographers. I’m definitely going to go so I could chat to other photographers, learn and absorb. Hope to see many you guys there!!

Great Idea as most people have a camera but could do with a few pointers to help make their images less like snaps and more like photographs. I shall definately make a point of visiting for a chat may even pop off a couple of shots for the competition.

I love photography, I’m not very experienced, I lack confidence to just go out there and shoot, but hopefully with time, i can gain confidence and get shooting on a more regular basis. I really hope I can make it to the masterclass, it sounds really fun&interesting;, I’ve never been to the themes festival before but this year I am determined to go.
