Our annual Thames Lens Photography competition this year received over 250 entries. Entrants were asked to submit photographs that captured the vibrancy and distinctiveness of the River Thames and were judged by a panel from the Thames Festival Trust and Port of London Authority alongside the London Photo Festival. From over 250 entries received, we can now announce that the 2016 winners are:
- Thames Lens 2016 Winner goes to Cairis Grant-Hickey for Dare you! taken along the Thames footpath between Woolwich and the Greenwich peninsula.
- Thames Lens 2016 Runner-up goes to Peter Murrell’s The Tour Bus taken at Tower Bridge.
- Port of London Authority Winner is awarded to John Clare for his Paddles Ahoy! taken at Kew Bridge at this year’s TideFest.
- London Photo Festival Highly Commended goes to Bubble Fun II by Britta Baumann taken along Bankside.
